K3-12 Curriculum

At Macon East Academy we offer a challenging college preparatory curriculum.  Beginning in our Pre-K and Kindergarten programs children are taught readiness skills that will carry them through their elementary, junior high and high school years.  Lower school classes focus on the core subjects of English, Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies, and Spelling with enrichment in the areas of computer, art, library, music and Spanish.  Elementary students also have daily physical education classes.  Beginning in 7th grade and continuing through senior year, students will take 7 courses including core and elective classes.  Honors, advanced placement and college prep classes are available beginning freshman year.  To learn more about the Macon East curriculum, please check the lower school and upper school links below.

Mother’s Day Out Program

Macon East Academy Mother’s Day Out program is a half-day program for 3- and 4-year-olds that begins in mid-August and continues through mid-May. Two options are available: 3-day (Tuesday – Thursday) or 4-day (Monday – Thursday). Hours will be from 8:00 am – 11:30 am.

Children who are ages 3 and 4 years old and are potty-trained are welcomed to participate in our Mother’s Day Out Program. Your child will participate in daily activities that include guided play and appropriately structured opportunities for each child to experience success in learning and to develop social skills for everyday life. The Mother’s Day Out component of Macon East Academy is designed to provide some free time during the traditional school year for mothers and/or fathers of children ages 3 and 4 in a safe and nurturing setting on a consistent schedule every week. Our goal is to help young children gain independent skills as they practice separating from their parents, interacting in a group setting and developing skills for school readiness.
