Macon East Academy Mini-Camps are designed to encourage participation and skill development in our younger players. All phases of each game will be covered. Campers will get the opportunity to work directly with the Macon East Coaches and athletes.
Sports camps are for various ages and grades.

Softball Mini-Camp
A 3-day mini-camp for rising 2nd graders through 6th graders on June 23 – June 25 from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm. All phases of the game will be covered, including hands on teaching the proper fundamentals of throwing, hitting, and defense. Campers get the opportunity to work directly with the Macon East Softball Team and Coaches.
Baseball Mini-Camp
A 3-day mini-camp for rising 2nd graders through 6th graders on June 23 – June 25 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. All phases of the game will be covered, including hands on teaching the proper fundamentals of throwing, hitting, and defense. Campers get the opportunity to work directly with the Macon East Baseball Team and Coaches.
June Jammin’
Offered to friends that are currently enrolled in the Macon East preschool and community friends that are ages 4 – 7. You can register for a full week of June Jammin’ with Mrs. Hathcock and Mrs. Taylor. Daily themes, fun activities, crafts, rest time and more! Volleyball Mini-Camp
Coaches Codi Moon and Kambria Darby are offering a 3-day mini-camp for rising 2nd graders through 6th graders on June 9 – June 11 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. This camp is designed to encourage participation and skill development for the younger players. They will cover the fundamentals of everything volleyball at each respective camper’s level in a fun and positive environment.
Elementary Basketball Skills Camp
Coach Lincoln Glass is opening a camp for boys and girls on June 2 – 4 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. This skills camp is open to rising 2nd graders through 6th graders and offers a unique opportunity for the student-athletes to develop their shooting, ball handling, scoring and defensive fundamentals.
Elementary Cheerleading Camp
Coach Kindall Bishop and the Macon East Cheerleaders are hosting a camp for upcoming K4 – 6th graders on June 23 – 25 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Campers will work on their motions, jumps, and flexibility to grow their foundational skills in cheer. They will learn a cheer, chant and dance appropriate to their age group.
Art Camp
Mrs. Summer Kyser is hosting a camp for aspiring artists on July 15 – 17 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. This 3-day mini-camp is specially designed for your child’s creative hands and mind. They will be able to create a variety of paintings, drawings, sculpture and more. Campers will experience a variety of age-appropriate art techniques, discover new materials and artists, play creative thinking games, and enjoy outdoor activities. Art camp is for rising 1st – 6th graders.
