The CHOOSE Act is Alabama’s new Education Savings Account (ESA) program designed to help families access the learning environment that best fits their child. Beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, eligible families can receive state-funded financial support to help cover education-related expenses—including private school tuition and fees—at approved schools like Macon East Academy.
This program empowers parents with more choice, flexibility, and control over their child’s education. Whether you’re a returning MEA family or exploring private school for the first time, the CHOOSE Act may help make an MEA education more affordable.
