Macon East’s Mother’s Day Out students are counting down the days until Christmas and they have been busy with many Christmas activities. From reviewing our academic skills using Christmas themes to making ornaments and surprises for our families, the classroom has been buzzing. They have also learned that giving is just as important as receiving. The students collected can goods for the Dixie Electric Food Drive and donated toys for the Heart to Heart Foster Care Ministry. They took their first off-campus field trip to Choctafaula Farms where they participated in Christmas games, took a trail ride to see camels, goats, horses, cows, wildebeests, ostriches, and zebras, and topped off the day with a visit from Santa.
