AISA All Star Basketball

The AISA East vs. West senior all-star basketball game was held February 18 at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex. Representing Macon East on the East boys’ team were Tyler Daniels, and Maurice Poole, and Maddie Ross was selected to the East girls’ team. Each of these outstanding athletes enjoyed some practice with their opponents from other AISA schools and the opportunity to get to know the other athletes as members of the same team. It was a fun night of great basketball, and the East girls’ team was victorious in the girls game.  Macon East’s very own Tyler Daniels was selected as the MVP for the East team.   Hendley Culpepper also represented MEA as a member of the East cheerleading squad. Congratulations to all our senior all-stars!

Fun Run 2022!

Macon East Academy’s PTO hosted our annual Fun Run in February surrounded by much excitement from our students. Our students and teachers love the interaction from the Booster Fun Run Crew that visits with them daily for fun challenges and learning important characteristic values. Money raised will be used for technology updates. Grades Preschool through 6th grade rocked their Glow Run at the end of the event. Because of their success in reaching their goals, the students got to pie a Booster Crew member, slime a teacher, an ice cream truck visit, have a color celebration (4th-6th grades), plus many other fun incentives their teachers did with them. Our 2nd grade class was the top pledging class and their teacher, Ms. Loomis, received $100 to use for her classroom. Thank you to all our Sponsors, Parents, Grandparents, and many volunteers that helped this be a big success.
