The Purple Star School program aims to address the issues of high mobility by identifying and designating military-friendly schools that meet specific standards. The Purple Star School Award is a recognition of schools that provide exceptional support to students and families associated with our nation’s military. At Macon East, we understand the challenges that military families face when transitioning to new homes and schools. Headmaster Glynn Lott expressed his pride in supporting military students and families at our school. We are committed to serving our students and families connected to our nation’s military and providing them with the best possible experience.
