Macon East Academy drama students stole the show at the AISA State Performing Arts Competition! Best Actor: 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 truly shined on stage, taking home top honors. Best Duet: 1st Place went to the dynamic duo 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗻 and 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀. Our talented ensemble (𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻, 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗸𝗹𝗲, 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗰𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹, A𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗮𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀) also clinched 1st Place! 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 and 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗻 were both chosen to the All-State Cast as well!
