Congratulations to the Macon East Kindergarten Class – your hard work has really paid off!

Macon East Kindergarten Graduation was a proud moment for 16 students – 12 girls and 4 boys. Throughout the year, they went on exciting educational field trips, like visiting the Cornfield County Farms Pumpkin Patch, The Gogue Center in Auburn to see “The Rainbow Fish”, Christmas at Choctafaula in Auburn, toured Publix and visited the Pike Road Public Library.
The students also had a blast participating in pep rallies, Fun Run, Christmas Program, Grandparents Day Program, Environmental Fair, Field Day and other fun activities. But the real highlight was their involvement in the Accelerated Reading Program during second semester. Their 6th grade reading buddies met with them weekly, and we are thrilled to say that 100% of the students reached their AR point goals for both the 3rd and 4th nine weeks! It’s been wonderful to see these young learners thrive and accomplish so much.

Macon East Elementary Honors Day

Our lower school recently held an Honors Day celebration, where students were recognized for their outstanding performance in various categories, including the prestigious Sagamore Award. The Sagamore Award is particularly meaningful, as it is chosen by the students’ classmates, recognizing those who embody the values of putting God first, others second, and themselves third. This character-building award highlights the importance of kindness, selflessness, and being a positive influence within the school community. Congratulations to all the hard-working Knights at Macon East Academy for their academic achievements!

Fun Run 2024 – What a Blast!

Macon East Academy’s PTO hosted our annual Fun Run on February 2nd. The students and teachers look forward to this fun event. Our students and teachers love the interaction from the Booster Fun Run Crew. The Booster Crew visited with the students everyday of the week leading up to the Fun Run for fun challenges and learning important character values. Because of their success in reaching their goals, the students got to mummify a Booster Crew member, silly string a Booster Crew member, and the 4th through 6th grades got to have a color run! The teachers also did incentives with their classes including movie days and ice cream days. Because of the great success of this fundraiser, we will be able to purchase many updates needed for the school. Thank you to all our Sponsors, Parents, Grandparents, and many volunteers that helped this be a big success!
