Congratulations to the Macon East Kindergarten Class – your hard work has really paid off!

The annual Macon East Honors Day program was a time to recognize the graduating class for their accomplishments as well as other outstanding upper school students. Representatives from many colleges were on hand to present scholarships and recognition to the seniors. The Class of 2024 earned over $4.2 million in academic and athletic scholarships. Seniors were also presented with their honor cords and honor graduate medallions to be worn at the commencement ceremony.
Macon East faculty and administration presented the following subject awards and special awards to the upper school students.
Our lower school recently held an Honors Day celebration, where students were recognized for their outstanding performance in various categories, including the prestigious Sagamore Award. The Sagamore Award is particularly meaningful, as it is chosen by the students’ classmates, recognizing those who embody the values of putting God first, others second, and themselves third. This character-building award highlights the importance of kindness, selflessness, and being a positive influence within the school community. Congratulations to all the hard-working Knights at Macon East Academy for their academic achievements!

Macon East Academy’s PTO hosted our annual Fun Run on February 2nd. The students and teachers look forward to this fun event. Our students and teachers love the interaction from the Booster Fun Run Crew. The Booster Crew visited with the students everyday of the week leading up to the Fun Run for fun challenges and learning important character values. Because of their success in reaching their goals, the students got to mummify a Booster Crew member, silly string a Booster Crew member, and the 4th through 6th grades got to have a color run! The teachers also did incentives with their classes including movie days and ice cream days. Because of the great success of this fundraiser, we will be able to purchase many updates needed for the school. Thank you to all our Sponsors, Parents, Grandparents, and many volunteers that helped this be a big success!
